PRIVATE EVENTS + RETREATS
Some gatherings become a marker in time — a before and after in the lives of the people who were part of them.
At Rituel, we design this type of experience.
Each private retreat is shaped entirely around your intention and the people you are gathering — whether that is a circle of dear friends, a family marking something significant, a leadership team seeking clarity and renewal, or a brand creating an experience worthy of the community it serves.
We compose it from the ground up — attending to the spatial environment, the arc of experiences, the nourishment, the pacing of the hours — so that every element serves the whole and the day unfolds with coherence, beauty, and depth.
We steward the full experience from the first conversation through the final moment of the day. You arrive as a guest in your own gathering — present to your people, present to the purpose of your time together.
THE NATURE REFUGE
Our 20 acre ocean view Nature Sanctuary at the border of Topanga and Malibu provides an exquisite backdrop for intimate gatherings, just minutes from Los Angeles yet worlds away. It is nestled high in the Santa Monica Mountains, in an area that stays particularly lush and green year-round. It features breathtaking views of the Pacific Ocean from up high, often above the clouds.
Flanked by land that is a nature preserve, the property has miles of scenic hiking trails that weave through the hills, which are alive with pristine coastal chaparral vegetation and outcroppings of beige and pink granite boulders. The retreat was designed to add luxurious amenities into the natural setting in a harmonious way. It includes indoor and outdoor spaces including welcoming safari tents that serve as relaxation and treatment rooms. It also features a nature labyrinth, meditation gardens, an outdoor bathhouse with a soaking tub and outdoor shower.
For those seeking to take their community on adventures further afield, we also design and facilitate destination retreats in collaboration with our network of highly skilled practitioners.
BEYOND THE REFUGE
We also design and facilitate retreats at private homes, meaningful venues, and destinations anywhere in the world — in collaboration with our network of trusted practitioners and partners.
Whether an intimate gathering in your own home, a destination retreat for your community, or an immersive brand activation for an aligned organization, we bring the same depth of care and intentional design to every setting.

“"I organized a day retreat at Rituel for a circle of dear friends — women I've known for decades, but who rarely get the chance to gather like this anymore. Every part of the day was curated with such intention. What moved me most was watching my friends soften over the course of the day. There are no words to express how much it meant and will always mean.”
