Lavender ~ Land Tending | July 19

$75.00

10am - 1pm

at Butterfly Mountain

Join us for a luminous summer gathering at Butterfly Mountain, devoted to the beauty, medicine, and sensory pleasure of lavender.

Held in community and surrounded by the natural beauty of the land, this workshop invites you to slow down, harvest, create, and experience lavender through its many forms: as plant ally, aromatic medicine, cooling infusion, and everyday ritual.

Together, we’ll begin with a brief introduction to lavender’s history, uses, and healing properties before moving into a hands-on harvesting experience. You’ll learn from Rituel founder Eve Gaines a simple bundle method using twine, to cut fresh lavender from the land, and leave with your own ready-made bouquet.

From there, we’ll gather for a cooling lavender tea meditation, guided by Shannon Kim, allowing the plant’s calming and restorative qualities to become part of the body’s felt experience. Tracy Kristine will then lead us in creating lavender bath salts — a simple, beautiful blend to take home and use as a nourishing ritual for rest, restoration, and summer replenishment.

This gathering is designed to be beautiful and community-centered: a day of harvesting, and land tending, scent, tea, meditation, and handmade ritual at the sanctuary of Butterfly Mountain.

Please bring a hat, basket, clippers, water bottle, and snack. Clippers, baskets, and hats will also be available to borrow or purchase on-site.

You’ll leave with a fresh lavender bundle, knowledge about growing + tending this beautiful plant ally, handmade bath salts, and a renewed connection to the abundance of the season.
