Life Drawing En Plein Air with Lauren Purves

$110.00

Saturday, October 18th

Arrival: 4:45 PM | Begin: 5:00 PM | Concludes: 7:00 PM

Join us for an early evening of figure drawing en plein air in the sanctuary of the RITUEL Nature Refuge. Guided by artist Lauren Purves, we will work with a live model, exploring the human form through charcoal, shadow, and light.

The French phrase en plein air means “in the open air” and describes the practice of creating art outdoors, immersed in natural light and atmosphere. This approach emphasizes presence, sensory reality, and the artist’s direct experience of the environment.

No prior experience is required—this practice is open to all levels. Materials and light refreshments will be provided.
