Resonance of Place ~ June 28th

$110.00

5pm-7:30pm

Join Rituel for an intimate place-based gathering at the extraordinary Topanga Tower, featuring Zoe Lynne of Sound of Zoe — a musician, vocalist, and sound practitioner whose immersive work invites deep listening, restoration, and resonance.

Held within the architecturally stunning Topanga Tower, this gathering is shaped by the singular beauty of the venue itself. Rising from the hillside, the Tower offers a rare feeling of elevation and intimacy at once — a place where mountain, sky, structure, garden, and wildland meet. Its luminous architecture, expansive views, and surrounding native landscape create a setting that feels both refined and elemental, inviting guests to arrive with a heightened sense of attention.

The land around the Tower is part of what makes this experience so special. In the Santa Monica Mountains, native plants form the living fabric of place. They stabilize the hillsides, feed pollinators, shelter wildlife, hold seasonal memory, and carry the particular intelligence of this region. To gather here is to be held within a larger ecology — one shaped by chaparral, canyon light, fragrant plant communities, stone, slope, and sky.

This special experience weaves Zoe’s sound practice with an added layer of energy work with native plants, guided by Eve Gaines, founder of Rituel. Rooted in teachings shared by elders of this place, Eve will invite participants into a deeper relationship with the living ecology of Topanga through presence, attention, and direct experience.

We will begin with seasonal herbal tea, then enter a guided plant practice designed to open a more reciprocal relationship with the living landscape. Guests will then be invited to rest on herbal beds as Zoe offers an immersive sound experience through voice, vibration, and layered tones.

Together, the sound, the plants, the land, and the architecture create a restorative encounter with place — an invitation to listen more deeply to the body, the season, and the world that holds us.
